7 Pot Bubblegum Chocolate
C.Chinense
700,000 – 800,000 SHULook at all this chocolate goodness but don’t be fooled this one is a hottie. We love a bleeding calyx on a good looking chilli and this one is certainly that. Fruit grow around 3cm x 3cms in size and are thick walled with lots of placenta. Its another naturally occurring variant of the 7 pot Bubblegum Red(a cross between a Trinidad Scorpion Moruga and a Trinidad 7 Pod Yellow) and we think it is hotter with more of a smokey aroma. Get your hands on this one for your rare chilli collection – you won’t be disappointed.

7 Pot Bubblegum Yellow
C.Chinense
500,000-650,000 SHUThis little beauty is definitely one for those who are collectors of rare and unique chillies. The Yellow variety is a naturally occurring variant of the 7 pot Bubblegum Red(a cross between a Trinidad Scorpion Moruga and a Trinidad 7 Pod Yellow) that we obtained from a friend. It is seemingly less hot than the red variety and the pods are about half the size at 3-4cms long and 2-3cms wide. It has the bleeding calyx that we all love and is quite prolific as chilli plants go. Taste wise it has the typical chinense flavour with a citrisy sweetness that bursts through.

7 Pot Congo SR Gigantic Brown
C. Chinense
Approx. 1,000,000 SHUThe 7 Pot Congo SR Gigantic Brown. That’s quite a mouthful and so is this great chilli! The pods from this bush are very large and very prolific. With that usual rich and earthy flavour that a lot of the brown super hots have, it will be more than enough for warming your food up to the level of “Am I the only one mad enough to eat this?” So with all the pods you have left over you can make your amazing chilli powder to amuse your friends…. Fun for almost everyone! This chilli is still quite rare and we are lucky enough to be one of a very few that have it.

7 Pot Congo SR Gigantic Mustard
C. Chinense
800,000 – 1,000.000Whoa this is a damn big one with the pods getting on average to just under tennis ball size! A variation on the 7 Pot Congo Gigantic Red we got the mustard coloured variety from a friend who had been growing them for a couple of seasons. It does have a distinctive 7 Pot flavour however as like a lot of other mustard coloured chillies it is smoother and sweeter on the palate. A real chilli growers collectors item as this is a very rare one indeed.

7 Pot Congo SR Gigantic Red
C. Chinense
800,000 – 1,000.000The 7 Pot Congo bush grows some really big pods and lots of them. They just look like a huge Reb Hab and are very hot. Honestly, maybe not the best tasting 7 pot fresh but would probably make a great sauce. SR stands for a lady named Sara who shares many varieties from Trinidad with the world.

800,000 – 1,000,000 SHUAnother awesome chilli to add to the 7 pot stable is the 7 pot mustard! We love the 7 pots and this is no exception. The colour of this one is great, so earthy and pleasant. Can a chilli that is so sweet to look at be very hot? Well the answer is, “you better believe it!” The heat is right up there with the best of them! It will have you crying for your Mother in thirty seconds or less! As a bonus, can you imagine the colour of the great chilli powder this will make! A real winner.

7 Pot Primo
C. Chinense
1,200.000- 1,400.000 SHUBack in 2005 a man named Troy Primeaux (Nickname Primo) a chilli grower and member of the Southern Rock band called Santeria, grew out a cross with some of the first seeds of the Naga Morich. The 7 pot Primo has the same fruity/ floral flavour of the 7 pots and may well be the hottest of them! These nasty looking chillies can grow with a nasty little ‘stinger’ on the end, so give yourself a ‘high five’ if you get the tail on yours! It makes an awesome hot sauce too. If your serious, you need this in your garden!

7 Pot Barrackpore (Chocolate)
C.Chinense
We think over 1,000,000 SHUSome people say the 7 Pot Rennie is a myth but after growing it we think it has its own distinctive characteristics – mainly its shape. From our tasting it is one of the hottest 7 Pots and is also one of the best 7 Pot producers we have grown. Here is the background we found on this one anyhow. “A guy named Rodney got these from a friend named “Rennie”. Rennie is from Grenada. His wife is from Trinidad. Her parents collected these seeds in Trinidad (possibly Landrace) and gave them to Rennie. Rennie then gave to Rodney who distrubuted them to friends in the United States.” Confused well don’t worry we think you won’t be disappointed in this one. 7 Pot White
C. Chinense
350,000 – 400,000 SHUThe White 7 Pot is also controversially called the Giant White Habanero. It is said that Grant Hustler released an F3 variety some years ago of the Yellow 7 Pot crossed with a White Hab. – resulting in this monster. Whatever you choose to call it, it’s an excellent all round versatile chilli. It has nowhere near the heat of a 7 pot, more like that of a Red Habanero. It is crunchy like an apple with a fresh and citrusy flavour. They start green and turn whitish yellow when ripe. They have a thick flesh and grow to a size of approximately 6cm x 6cm. Another great one for your collection!

800,000-1,000,000 SHUOh yeah this is a beauty. Hot as hell but if you can stand the heat this is an extremely tasty chilli pepper. 7 pod, also known as 7 pot yellow, is a chilli pepper that originates from Trinidad. It is a great chilli pepper to make up as a sauce.
