Sugar Rush Peach
C. Baccatum
100,000 – 200,000 SHUThe Sugar Rush Peach is a one of a kind and highly sought after. It is one of the Aji types from Peru. This chilli is so sweet you can almost believe you are eating a piece of tropical fruit!…well almost! It’s certainly one of the best tasting around at the moment with its sweet, citrusy crunch! As for the amount of heat, most agree it’s a bit less than a habanero. The possibilities for the Sugar Rush Peach are endless so let your imagination go wild. This is the chilli of the moment!

Tepin x Lemon Drop
C. Annuum
Aprox. 80,000 SHUA little tear drop shaped treasure to behold. This one is a curious cross between a Tepin and Aji Lemon Drop. We think this one is now 6th generation so pretty close to being stable. Another super prolific variety that we just love the flavour of. Would make a beautiful chutney or jam given its sweet thick walled flesh. Oh and for you lazy gardeners its super easy maintenance so long as you keep it hydrated. Plant is relatively compact and grows to around 60cms tall.

Thai Pumpkin Pepper
C. Baccatum
Approx. 36,000 SHUThis plump little chilli comes from Thailand and is thick fleshed and deeply grooved – just like a pumpkin. The flattened fruits are strongly ribbed and measure about 4cm in diameter. They turn from an attractive green to a bright red as they mature, and are good for stuffing or for heating up a mild curry.

Yellow Brazilian starfish
C. Baccatum
8,000 – 10,000 SHUWe love the Yellow Brazilian Starfish. While it doesn’t have much heat at all, around the same as a Jalapeno, the taste is great. The first thing you can taste is apples. It is thick walled and crunchy, also very prolific! The little heat it does have presents itself as almost “fizzy”. Its very unusual! These are great tossed into a salad. Although still rare, its one of the best mild chilies ever!
