The WAL 7, or Wicked Ass Little 7 pot is one of the greats from the stable of the famous Butch Taylor. It’s a cross of a 7 pot Jonah and the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T, so we knew it was bound to be ridiculously hot…..and we were not disappointed! While having a classic, fruity 7 pot flavour, it also has enough heat to make you question why you would even GROW a chilli that could make SATAN cry like a baby! Ironically enough, that is exactly WHY we love to grow it! Another one for the “I must be mad” list. Just do it.
White Devil’s Tongue
Another awesome white chilli pepper. The fruit grow to be 5 to 7 cm long and are semi wrinkled – maturing from green to white. The Devil’s Tongue is similar in color and shape to the Fatalii, but with smoother skin and smaller size. It is said to be from the habanero family and is slightly lemony lime flavour. The heat level rivals that of the habanero and is still much hotter than most chilli peppers.
White Habanero (Peruvian)
The White Habanero also known as ‘Peruvian White Habanero’ is a relatively rare and quite stunning little chilli pepper. It is said to originate from Peru and ha a distinctive smokey flavour. The pods mature to a creamy-white and the longer you leave them on the bush the hotter they become.
The Yellow Fatalii is from Africa and really is a great all rounder. It’s a bit hotter than a Habanero and great to cook with. It has a citrus flavour and is perfect to use when you are using lemon or lime to boost the flavour of the recipe. Being thin skinned, it dries well and makes excellent powder.
