7 Primo Hybrid AKA ‘THE GOD STOPPER!’
C. Chinense
SHU 1,500,000 at leastThis remarkable chilli started life as a caramel 7 primo and well and truly has its home in Western Australia. A talented grower in W.A. inadvertently grew a yellow one from this stock and it was evident right away that it was extremely special. After a couple of generations, it was introduced to Mathew Price, one of Australia’s best chilli scoffers! It is well known in Australia that Mathew can tackle any chilli but this one brought the Aussie Chilli God to his knees. From here on in known as the “God Stopper!” These seeds are from the source and a fairly stable now but yet to be tested for SHU. Try them, we guarantee fun times!

BBG Naga Choc
C. Chinense
Approx 900,000 to INSANITY SHUWarning, warning this one is a lethal weapon in the hands of the uninitiated. Glossy and a poo shade of brown it will have you on the toilet for hours. A collectors item that has a somewhat mysterious history – well that’s our way of saying we don’t know where it comes from. We do suspect it was banished from the bowels of Hell after Satan realised he couldn’t match it’s fiery evilness. It is about 4cms x 2cm in size with an amazing chocolaty bleeding calyx. We won’t be trying this pain factory of a chilli again but be our guest and knock yourself out – and we DO mean literally…

BBG Pumpkin
C. Chinense
700,000 – 900,000 SHUTasting nothing like a Pumpkin this little beast is a treasure. Another hot as hell Bubblegum variety that is guaranteed to impress. The BBG Pumpkin is a cross between a BBG Red and a Minorcan Datil. Surprisingly stable for a new cross its much sweeter than most BBG varieties. Pods are shaped and coloured like a pumpkin giving it it’s name. Super rare and we think this one will sell out fast.

BBG x Aji Jobito
C. Chinense
100,000 – 200,000 SHUOh yeah, a chilli cross to get pretty darn excited about. With the flavour of the fruity Aji Jobito this one is tainted with the searing heat of a 7 Pot. In particular the famous 7 Pot Bubblegum. We sourced this from the United States and couldn’t be happier. Smooth and shiney with a colour we can only describe as pinky, peachy orange. It is a new chilli hybrid cross so is not fully stable. We will definately be growing this again soon but now you can too…

Chocolate Bhut
C. Chinense
1,000,000 – 1,200,000 SHUWe love Bhuts, and we love chocolate! It makes sense that we especially love the Chocolate Bhut! The Bhut Jolokia is an Icon and the Chocolate Bhut is a great variation of it. It has that great heat we know and love and, although it doesn’t taste quite like chocolate, it has that great earthy, rich flavor that the brown chillies often have. We couldn’t fault this and can only imagine how great a steak sauce would taste made with this one!

Chocolate Reaper
C. Chinense
Approx 1,500,000 – ??? SKUWell here it is a new favourite of ours. A chocolate colour variation to the infamous Carolina Reaper. The Chocolate Reaper is just like the red version with the long stinger tail. It has a very strong floral aroma, similar to the red variety but with a hint of a smoky type taste up front. Not fully stable yet the Chocolate Reaper is one you can grow out and see how good a stinger tail you can get. We liked it best as a powder. Its one to show off in your chilli patch for sure!

Genghis Khan Brain
C. Chinense
Approx 1,500,000 SKUThe Genghis Kahn Brain has been around for a while and is just now getting the attention that it deserves. It was apparently created by the ‘Associazione Italiana Amatori e Studiosi del Peperoncino’ in Italy, and they seem have done a damn good job! This chilli is one of the truly superhots. As soon as you put this fire bomb in your mouth you realise it’s a mistake. You could try putting your entire head into a vat of full cream milk and inhaling but trust me, it didn’t work for me. The paramedic called me an idiot and who was I to argue. If you want to eat this, have health insurance. Take my word for it.

Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion
C. Chinense
900,000 SHUJay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion is a winner if you are chasing incredible heat. The cross of a Ghost Chilli and a Trinidad Scorpion by Jay Weaver presents us with this gnarly peach coloured Chilli! It is now about 7 generations old so getting very stable. A bit milder in flavour than the Ghost is nice and the slightly floral and sweet flavour is very good. At about 900,000 SHU, it’s running with the big boys and not to be taken lightly. Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion is on most hardcore chilli growers list for a good reason!

Pimientos de Padrón
C. Annuum
500 – 2500 SHUThe Padron is quite obviously from Spain. Nearly everyone will know the name. It may well be the most well known pepper in the Mediterranean area. These are used all the time in Tapas and while not usually all that hot, for some reason there can be one that will light your fire! They are usually picked and eaten green, unlike our picture! They are probably one of the World’s best “frying peppers”. If you have not tried these sautéed in olive oil and salt, you are really missing out. Once the Padron passes your lips you will be hooked. It is a ‘must grow’ for us and hopefully you too.

Purple Ghost Scorpion
C.Chinense
SHU approx 1,000,000
The Purple Ghost Scorpion is a newish cross originating in Guam. It is the crossing of a Purple Ghost and the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T. An unusual thing about this chilli is that while the outside ripens to a deep red, the inside quite often remains a vibrant purple! We know of no other chilli that does this. It tastes quite fruity with no bitterness. The heat is about the same as a Ghost so it’s very hot! While not quite stable yet, we love it and will grow it again!

Scotch Brains Orange
C.Chinense
400,000 to 800,000 SHUScotch Brains, as its name suggest, is a cross of the Scotch Bonnet and the Yellow 7 Pot Brain strain. It has quickly become one of the best crosses around and is by now a very stable chilli. While it is a little hotter than your normal Scotch Bonnet, it is citrusy and tastes amazing. Nearly everyone that tries the Scotch Brains has fallen in love with it and you will too! If all that wasn’t enough, it is hugely productive as well. You can ask for more than that!

White Chupetinho
C.Chinense
20,000 – 30,000 SHUWe all love white chillies, and the White Chupetinho is a great example. It took us a while to get this rare beauty. It originates from Brazil where they are used extensively. They are juicy and crunchy and are very prolific! They are most commonly used in salads or in soups and stews but especially pickled! The White Chupetinho is a really good chilli and commonly used as an ornamental as well. This will soon be one of your favourites!
