Purple Reaper
C.Chinense
Unknown SHUThe mythical Purple Reaper is here! This reaper variety was created by the amazing chilli grower Carlos Jnr from Brazil. We have been looking forward to this one for a long time and we know you guys have too! Ok, we know it’s not completely stable yet but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun to grow, right? Having said that, the pheno is surprisingly good and you will get a lot of great purple pods with awesome stingers which will eventually ripen to red. We know what you are thinking and YES, the Purple Reaper IS Unbelievably HOT! So hot we thought being burned at the stake would be a pleasant alternative. These will go fast so don’t miss out!

Sepia Serpent
C. Chinense
800,000 – 1,00,000 SHUWe’re told this is a creation of SilverSurfer on The Hot Pepper forum and is a cross between a 7 Pot Douglah X Trinidad Scorpion ButchT. Holy Smoke Batman that has to mean business. It has a mahogany deep brown hue to it and is crazy golf ball size. Pods have a great gnarly shape and are quite thin walled. It has a slightly sweet earthy flavour and packs a punch heat wise. We think these would be best made into a powder or sneaking into your mates sandwich.
This generation is F7+, meaning that it is a relatively stable variety.

Tabanaga
C. Chinense
Approx. 800,000?? SHU
An absolute must grow variety if you like to make fermented Tabasco like chilli sauce. We have permission from our friends over at The Hippy Seed Company to sell their amazing Tabanaga Hybrid which they created in 2009. It’s a Tabasco crossed with a Dorset Naga so you know it has to pack a punch and taste great too. Also if you like your chillies hardy, easy maintenance and super producers this is the one for you. The pods are about 5 cm long and 2 cm wide, start off green and end up a fiery red. The fruit grow to around a meter tall in a pot and much bigger if you plant in the ground.

C. Baccatum
Approx. 36,000 SHUThis plump little chilli comes from Thailand and is thick fleshed and deeply grooved – just like a pumpkin. C.Chinense
1,000,000-1,600,000 SHUHow to describe the Chocolate scorpion….Imagine sticking out your tongue and someone grabs it tight with ceramic hair straighteners….and they turn it to high and don’t let go! It has a dark and smooth flavour and is one seriously super-hot chilli. Very popular for making smokey BBQ sauces with a big punch!
This killer chilli pepper was declared the world’s most hottest chilli in February 2012. Some reports have measured it’s SHU as high as over 2 million. Ouch. It lost that title to the Carolina Reaper which became the world’s hottest chilli in November 2013. When fully grown the Trinidad Chocolate Scorpion Chilli can grow up to 160 cm high…10+ Seeds

Trinidad Scorpion Cardi Yellow
C.Chinense
500,000 – 800,000 SHUThis is a rare and beautiful version of the trinidad scorpion. On looks alone this is one we recommend you grow to show off to your chilli head friends…It is a rare and extremely hot pepper, which originates from Trinidad. The chilli fruits colour from green to yellow during ripening. The pods are bigger, longer and thicker than the ‘regular’ Trinidad Scorpion. They are a bit less hot – but not by much. This chilli pepper has an awesome fruity taste and can be big producers if looked after.

WAL 7
C. Chinense
1,500,000 SHUThe WAL 7, or Wicked Ass Little 7 pot is one of the greats from the stable of the famous Butch Taylor. It’s a cross of a 7 pot Jonah and the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T, so we knew it was bound to be ridiculously hot…..and we were not disappointed! While having a classic, fruity 7 pot flavour, it also has enough heat to make you question why you would even GROW a chilli that could make SATAN cry like a baby! Ironically enough, that is exactly WHY we love to grow it! Another one for the “I must be mad” list. Just do it.

Weapon X
C. Chinense
Approx 600,000 – 800,000 SHUBig, gnarly and mega hot the Weapon X is a cross from Western Australian grower Graeme Chaplin (Chappy). All that is known is that one of the parents are thought to be a Trinidad Scorpion Butch T. Interestingly the ones we grew in pots only grew to about 60cm tall and the pods were around 6cm x 4 cm. Good on you ‘Chappy’ this one is a ripper and quite sweet for a superhot. It’s stability is unknown so have a go and see what you get.

White Bhut Jolokia aka Ghost
C. Chinense
600,000 – 800,000 SHUWhat’s hot, spooky and just too damn sexy for the garden? – The White Ghost chilli of course. Apparently now a stable variation of the Red Ghost this one is almost as hot – ouch. Pods grow about 4-5cms long and turn from light green to an awesome almost translucent white. When you cut them open you get that super strong Bhut aroma and the fumes are enough to kill a herd of elephants. The heat hits almost immediately and travels quickly to the back of the throat. The White Ghost is definitely more mild and flavorful than the other Ghosts we have tasted. What more can we say get your hands on this beauty you wont be disappointed.

That is where the fun will end for you……Unless of course you love your superhot chillies!
