7 Pot White
C. Chinense
350,000 – 400,000 SHUThe White 7 Pot is also controversially called the Giant White Habanero. It is said that Grant Hustler released an F3 variety some years ago of the Yellow 7 Pot crossed with a White Hab. – resulting in this monster. Whatever you choose to call it, it’s an excellent all round versatile chilli. It has nowhere near the heat of a 7 pot, more like that of a Red Habanero. It is crunchy like an apple with a fresh and citrusy flavour. They start green and turn whitish yellow when ripe. They have a thick flesh and grow to a size of approximately 6cm x 6cm. Another great one for your collection!

Aji Camba
C.Baccatum
Approx 30,000 – 60,000 SHUNot much is known about this rare chilli except that it is quite a rare one from Peru. It ripens up from white through to red and sometimes you will get some stunning purple striations as it does. Pod size is on average 2-3cms and they have a slightly sweet and salty flavour. If you love chillies that display a multitude of colours then this is a great one to grow – almost could be classed as an ornamental but tastier.

Aji Peanut
C. Baccatum
8,500 – 10,000 SHU Aprox.
Well again we have a interesting cool variety that clearly is shaped like its name – the Aji Peanut chilli pepper. A very uncommon baccatum variety we came across that got our attention. The mature fruits look quite like a peanut shell and are deep red in colour. Hot enough to get your attention with the plant growing a bit gangly at 60-80cms tall. Take your time to warm to this one but be assured it’s a great producer and easy maintenance. We recommend you give it a crack.

Antillias Caribbean
C. Chinense
250,000 – 350,000 SHUThe Antillias Caribbean is, not surprisingly, a habanero from the Caribbean area. It is very prolific on the bush and very hardy. It is also a bit larger than a Red Habanero and has that sweet fruity flavour that most people love. Full of heat and full of flavour, its perfect for homemade sauces and jams. We highly recommend it!

Bad Brains
C. Chinense
400,000 – 500,000 SHUI’m BAD to the bone and pretty awesome looking too. The Bad Brains chilli is an accidental cross discovered by the grower extraordinaire Wes Lane. Its most likely a cross with a Fatalli Yellow and possibly the Yellow Brainstrain. With that sort of heritage it just has to be a winner. We love how it looks but its the flavour that is a stand out – sweet and thin walled it tastes very much like a fatalii with a tad more heat. The plant grows to about 100 cm tall in a pot and the pods are 8-10 cm long and 3cm wide. Another super prolific chilli variety we cant recommend enough.

This chilli pepper is an interesting one obtained from THSC. The Banjul Markets Gambia Pepper is said to originate from Gambia in Africa and it is stunning in its full glory.
The Gambia chilli pepper is very prolific with the pods ranging from creamy white to yellow to orange to red when fully ripe. Heat wise they are hot but not super hot with a lingering tongue burn. Flavour wise it is slightly sweet and a tad salty. We use them a lot in curries as the soft skin melts away easily in any dish.

BBG x Aji Jobito
C. Chinense
100,000 – 200,000 SHUOh yeah, a chilli cross to get pretty darn excited about. With the flavour of the fruity Aji Jobito this one is tainted with the searing heat of a 7 Pot. In particular the famous 7 Pot Bubblegum. We sourced this from the United States and couldn’t be happier. Smooth and shiney with a colour we can only describe as pinky, peachy orange. It is a new chilli hybrid cross so is not fully stable. We will definately be growing this again soon but now you can too…

Bellingrath Gardens
C. Annuum
50,000 – 75,000 SHUAnother wonderful black ornamental chilli named in honor of Alabama’s famous garden. Foliage is variegated with colours of green, purple and black and it has iridescent purple flowers. Its a super sturdy plant with amazing yields. Not a great one to eat but it attracts birds to the garden like you wouldn’t believe. The Bellingrath Gardens fruit are pendent in shape and ripen from purple-black to green-red. It grows to just over half a meter tall and the fruit are around 3cms long by 1.5cms wide.
