7 Pot Bubblegum Chocolate
C.Chinense
700,000 – 800,000 SHULook at all this chocolate goodness but don’t be fooled this one is a hottie. We love a bleeding calyx on a good looking chilli and this one is certainly that. Fruit grow around 3cm x 3cms in size and are thick walled with lots of placenta. Its another naturally occurring variant of the 7 pot Bubblegum Red(a cross between a Trinidad Scorpion Moruga and a Trinidad 7 Pod Yellow) and we think it is hotter with more of a smokey aroma. Get your hands on this one for your rare chilli collection – you won’t be disappointed.

7 Pot Bubblegum Yellow
C.Chinense
500,000-650,000 SHUThis little beauty is definitely one for those who are collectors of rare and unique chillies. The Yellow variety is a naturally occurring variant of the 7 pot Bubblegum Red(a cross between a Trinidad Scorpion Moruga and a Trinidad 7 Pod Yellow) that we obtained from a friend. It is seemingly less hot than the red variety and the pods are about half the size at 3-4cms long and 2-3cms wide. It has the bleeding calyx that we all love and is quite prolific as chilli plants go. Taste wise it has the typical chinense flavour with a citrisy sweetness that bursts through.

Aji Colorado (Orange Variant)
C.Baccatum
20,000 – 30,000 SHUWe grew this one expecting the usual red variety but it has consistently thrown out amazing fluorescent orange pods – we love it. It is fast growing, fairly compact and a very prolific chilli pepper. The original Aji Colorado, from which this is a variant, is native to Bolivia and Peru. Packed with flavour these sweet-spicy, thin-walled chillies are extremely versatile. We love this pepper made into a powder as it really brings out the best of its flavour profile.

Aji Mango Stumpy
C.Baccatum
20,000 – 30,000 SHUWhat an absolute ripper this one is. Created by the pepperlover crew this is the stumpy version that has all the same qualities as the original longer pheno type. Crazy producer of 3cm x 1cm sized fruit/pods the Aji Mango will blow you away. Ripening to a deep bright yellow the fruit taste sweet and fruity. Yes as its namesake implies it does have a hint of mango like fruity flavour. As for what it would be good with we can only say SAUCE SAUCE SAUCE. But we have it on everything from pizza to pasta to salads. Do yourself a favour and grow this one.

Bengal Naga Peach
C. Chinense
600,000 – 800,000 SHUWhoa this is a thing to behold. It’s said to originate as an off-type plant in a greenhouse full of Bhut Jolokia, but outside this its a mystery to us. The Bengal Naga Peach has wrinkled skin and can be quite twisty. Flavor wise they are sweet as superhots go and deliver a fruity taste that breaks through the savage heat. We love how this one looks but you be the judge if it takes your fancy.

Big Caramel Mama
C. Chinense
Approx. 600,000 – 800,000 SHU
It’s big it’s caramel, WHAT, WAIT another Big Mama colour. Oh yes and its just as melt your socks off hot as the others. The Big CARAMEL Mama is the caramel variant of the Big Black Mama that was bred by Troy Pimeaux. No idea who found this variation growing in their chilli patch but it is a very impressive hardy plant plant that keeps on giving. The fruit are massive at 6-7cms long by 3-4cms wide turning from green to, you guessed it, caramel. If you have the other colours in the Mama range then we think you also need to get your hands on this one.

Big Yellow Mama
C. Chinense
Approx. 600,000 – 800,000 SHU
It’s big it’s yellow and it will have you screaming for your mama. The Big Yellow Mama is the Yellow variant of the Big Black Mama that was bred by Troy Pimeaux. It is a little less hot as the Big Black Mama but still packs a big punch. Like other yellow types it has more of a citrus fruity flavor tone which makes it perfect for sauces. This one has been around since 2015 and we are uncertain of the stability of our version. The fruit are massive at 6-7cms long by 3-4cms wide with them being smooth to bumpy skin texture.

Chenzo – Purple
C.Frutescens
Approx 45,000 SHUWell what do we have here!…a Purple Chenzo. One that we grew that threw out purple instead of the initial black coloured fruit. Terribly cute this one is hard to beat as an easy growing, hardy and super prolific variety. The pods are 2-3 cm long and 0.5 cm wide and look awesome as they fill the bush with purple/green/matte orange and fire engine red fruit. It has a compact umbrella canopy growing habit getting to approximately 1 foot tall. PRETTY and TASTY this one is perfect for patio growing.

Costa Rica Orange
C. Frutescens
Approx 100,000-150,000 SHUWe got seeds of this beauty from THSC as a natural variant of the Red Chilli Costa Rica. If you love chillies that stand out in the garden then this is one for you. It has deep dark black/green foliage with the leaves turning darker the more sun it gets. The pods are almost a fluorescent orange which contrasts amazingly with the black leaves. Just a stunner. Size wise the plant grows incredibly compact to around 60-70cms with the pods 2-3cm wide and long. Despite being more an ornamental the flavour is salty and tangy and we think it would make an interesting vibrantly coloured chilli powder.

Habajig
C.Chinense
800,000 – 1,000,000 SHUThe Habajig is a crazy cross we got from a friend and we don’t know much about it except it is a cross between a Hab Big Sun and a Fatalii Gourmet Jigsaw. The pods are ginormous at about palm size and they are burn your eyebrows off hot. If you are one of those people who love to grow unstable crosses this one at around F4 may be enticing. The Habajig is a crazy good producer and is great made into chilli powder. Grow it just to see what interesting results you get.

Habalokia Peach Lavalamp
C. Chinense
Approx 350,000 – 500,000 SHUSeeds for this interesting one came from a friend and we have little information on it. We think it is possibly a cross between a habanero variety and the red lavalamp chilli. It may not be fully stable but that said we were so impressed with the look and flavour we thought we would share it. This interesting mutant cross grew like a beast and produced like crazy. Plant grew quite compact and was about 70cm tall potted. The pods average 3cm long by 2cm wide giving them a blocky like appearance. Flavour wise we think they have a sweet almost peachy like taste with a slow intense all over mouth burn. If you like your mutant crosses this is one for the collection.
