Another wonderful black ornamental chilli named in honor of Alabama’s famous garden. Foliage is variegated with colours of green, purple and black and it has iridescent purple flowers. Its a super sturdy plant with amazing yields. Not a great one to eat but it attracts birds to the garden like you wouldn’t believe. The Bellingrath Gardens fruit are pendent in shape and ripen from purple-black to green-red. It grows to just over half a meter tall and the fruit are around 3cms long by 1.5cms wide.
